What is the Student Journal of Law?

The Student Journal of Law is the only active national law journal written by students for students. We aim to provide a platform for law students throughout the country to explore areas of interest in greater depth than allowed for in their studies and to display their enthusiasm for the law through writing quality articles. In the future, we aim to have a presence in every law department in the UK.

What does the Student Journal of Law offer?

The Student Journal of Law offers a unique place to market your brand amongst students. Sponsorship of the Student Journal of Law offers a chance to increase your brand recognition and presence in the graduate recruitment market. Sponsoring a specific essay competition or running a lecture or networking event through the journal offers a chance to recruit from some of the best graduates across the UK.

We understand that this is a period of financial difficulty, and sponsorship budgets have reduced. However, we feel certain that firms, chambers and companies will continue to want to recruit the most talented law graduates and we feel that the journal offers an excellent platform from which this can be achieved. We can offer flexibility on the range of sponsorship values.

This section summarises the opportunities available to sponsor this exciting project. We are looking for:

• Financial Support: we need financial support to help pay for the costs of administration and research, and to allow us to award grants and subsidies, as well as prizes for essay competitions.
• Lectures, Talks, Networking: the Student Journal of Law provides a unique platform for advertising events to students across the UK

Gold Sponsorship Package

Gold sponsorship involves sponsorship of the journal as a whole. Gold sponsors will have their brand strongly advertised on our website and at any events that we run. They will also have the chance to run an event or an essay competition through the journal.

Silver Sponsorship Package

Silver sponsorship involves sponsorship of a particular issue of the journal. Silver sponsors will have their brand advertised on the particular issue of the journal. They will also have the chance to run an essay competition through that issue of the journal.
